Fall Fermentation Class
Fall Fermentation Class
Learn about the basics of fermentation with Allie from Chugach Farm! Allie is a pro at fermenting - she makes and sells everything from cauliflower kraut to kimchi, all from her farm veggies. In this class, you’ll learn about fermentation and get hands on experience making a basic veggie ferment. All participants will take home a quart of their class fermented veggies. The class will take place on Wednesday, October 1st from 5:00-7:00pm in the commercial kitchen of the United Protestant Church, where the market is held.
Matanuska Community Farmers Market acknowledges we are on ancestral unceded land of Ahtna and Dena’ina Peoples, who have been and continue to be stewarding this land. The work we do would not be possible without their generational stewardship.
