Fall Fermentation Course

Learn the basics of fermentation with Allie from Chugach Farm! Allie is a pro at fermenting - she makes everything from cauliflower kraut to kimchi! In this class, you’ll learn about fermentation and make a basic recipe for fermented veggie kraut. Each participant will each take a quart home of their class creation.

The class will be held on Wednesday, October 1st from 5:00-7:00pm in the commercial kitchen at the United Protestant Church, where the market is held. You’ll be able to come and do your market shopping and then hang around for the course!

This course is being offered on a sliding scale! However, our website won’t let us do that (or at least in a way that we’ve been able to figure out…) If you’d like to participate in the course but can’t swing $60, please email matanuskafarmersmarket@gmail.com!
